Hi everybody!!

I'm writing this to let you all know that I'm BAAAAACK!!!!
I'll be drawing a lot more often so be on the lookout for new art!! Sketches and full color works are on the way!

I haven't really drawn for myself in a while and I'm looking forward to getting back into it

Also, I wanted to thank you guys for sticking around even though I haven't drawn much recently. You're the best!!

I've been super busy moving to a new city for a full time job as a concept artist for Kiwi Inc.
I haven't had a chance to post anything in a while and for that I'm sorry.

Things are settling down though and I'd like to make 2 announcements and a shout out!

Hey everyone!!

It feels like forever! Sorry I haven't been around, I've been busy with a few projects but having lot's of fun!!

I'm working on characters for the game "A Hat In Time". I'll submit some of the concept art soon
The game is looking more polished all the time and I hope it does well. There needs to be more 3D platformers!

Another project I'm designing characters for is a TV show pilot! I can't say much about it though, so shhhhhh
But It's a lot of fun and I hope I'll be able to talk more about it soon!

Lastly I am now doing character designs and concept art for Kiwi Inc.  
I've been having so much fun and I can't wait to actually see the characters move around in the game!

Hey everyone!

So I've decided to record myself sketching a lot more often and submitting the videos to youtube

Right now I'm considering different types of videos for different kinds of approaches to designs.

Techniques and Approaches: Shape sketching and other techniques I use when designing characters (like in the video link above)
Full Piece Draw Through: I want these videos to be focused on one piece from start to finish including sketching inking and coloring.
Rough Sketches: Just video recordings of raw sketching sessions.

If you guys have other suggestions on what I should record let me know!

I am not sure if I should monetize my channel, I don't think I want to make people watch advertisements though.

I think I'm going to make my channel ad free and not monetize the channel for now...good choice?? What do you guys think?

In other news, I wont have much time to work on commissions, but my good buddy is currently available and looking for commissions

Hey there everybody!

So I just wanted to update you all on the goings on in my life.
I've been pretty busy with commissions and hit a road bump recently with my computer.
Lots of my files went missing recently and I've been trying to recover them.
I've been able to recover most files but some are very large and take a while to re-download them.

I'm slowly getting things back in order and will hopefully start Leo's Forest work again very soon!
Sorry for the lack in updates, I'll get started on introducing the new character very soon!

I want to create short comic, maybe just a page, to help tell a bit more about the new character.
Or I may just do a promotional illustration to introduce the new character...not sure yet.

I'm also going to try and design some concepts for my ideas on how multiplayer will work in Leo's Forest.
But that's further down the line hehe

Anyway I hope you like the commissions and some of the random sketches I've submitted recently.
I'll have more Leo's Forest art and regular art coming soon!

P.S. This is more on a personal note, I feel my art needs some upgrading...I'm going to do my best to start pushing my skills further and try to develop something that really shines

Hi everyone!

I just thought I'd let you know I came back home safely!

I know it wasn't too long but being away and seeing a different part of the world, meeting different kinds of people usually teaches me a lot.
I feel a little different and much more positive

I hope you'll notice a change in the art as well, hopefully an improvement

Hey everyone!

I just thought I'd mention that for a little while, maybe a couple of weeks, I'll be out of the country visiting friends and family in Japan
During that time I wont be able to submit regular art. Sorry about that, but hopefully I'll come back with some sketches to show you all!

I just wanted to ask you guys a small favor, it's pretty easy and wont take up much time, in fact you can do this right now wherever you are!

First let me say that I believe that when we focus on something passionately and with a strong motivation, that thing manifests itself into reality much faster!
I have witnessed this in my life and in the lives of others, when we use our mind and imagination, we attract that which we most give our attention to.

That being said, I was hoping we could try an experiment.
I am really happy with the response you guys have had to Leo's Forest! It's given me more motivation and energy to continue working on it!
These feelings you have for Leo's Forest are very strong, and could possibly bring Leo's Forest into our reality!

So I just finished this sneak preview of my personal project:

Leo's Forest is my concept for a 3D platformer with new fun innovations!
I'll be providing links to sites with more information on Leo's Forest on August 31st.
I need the time to prepare

I hope you guys like it!
As far as graphics go, I imagine them being more like a pixar movie, but for the concept of the game I'll be illustrating this way

My plan is to hopefully get people interested enough with the game mechanics and the look of the concept to support the project
I'll be illustrating every aspect of the game that I can, like Leo's moveset, collectables, characters, story, enemies, levels and game mechanics

Anyway, I hope you guys are as excited as I am!

Hi everyone!

The project is coming along nicely

I will be submitting a promotional piece soon that will show a sneak peek at the concept for my project!
In about two days I should have the promo piece finished and ready to submit! Be on the lookout for that hehe

By the end of the month I plan on revealing the project and my plans for the concept
I've made a deviantart account, facebook page, and tumblr page for the project too!
I will provide all the links to the new pages with the reveal of the project on August 31st!!

I don't want to say too much but I will say that the concept is for a game...I don't want to say the genre just yet but one of the main points in the game is to have fun and explore!
This project is being done completely on my own at the moment...I may need to build a team when the project starts to catch on
It may take a while to complete because I'm visually conceptualizing everything from the characters to the background designs to the game mechanics and controller functions!

I feel I've said too much haha!!
