Calvin and Hobbes Sketchby *LuigiL

This is a re-creation of one of Bill Waterson's Sunday strips. I tried my best to capture the fun and fluidity of the characters. This was not traced in any way, except for the words "Calvin and Hobbes"

I was contemplating if I should submit this sketch or not. I thought maybe it might take away the impact from a final colored piece.

But I also thought that the sketch was fun enough to be enjoyed. So I've decided to submit both, first the sketch and soon I'll submit the colored version

I should have mentioned that I am a very very big Calvin and Hobbes fan. I grew up reading the collection books, these two have given me lots of happy times when I was a kid and they continue to make me happy with wonderful memories.

I want to say thanks to Bill Watterson. His characters and artwork have been a huge inspiration and influence for me. It's my hope that someday, some kid, might be influenced and inspired by my work.
